"Very prompt free friendly shuttle from the airport. They even shuttled us for free to the hotel where our tour was staring from the next morning. It is about a 15 minute drive from ANC. Check in was quick and efficient. Room was clean. Breakfast consisted of eggs, hash browns, and sausage. Cold options were breads, muffins, oatmeal, cold cereal, fruit juice and coffee. Eating area is very small with three tables and two couches but you could bring food back to room. The cost couldn’t be beat and was an excellent value for the short stay we needed before our land tour started. We would stay here again"

"The inn was wonderful and the staff quite accommodating. The room was well equipped and anything lacking was generously provided by the office. The only issue that we experienced during the stay was that the hot water seemed to be a little problematic, the water was a little lukewarm at night and showering wasn't as nice as it could have been. I informed the staff and they looked into it, but they surmised that the hot water may have run out at night."

"As a lifelong Alaskan, I had never seen the area down by Ship Creek! Staying made it a memorable night, being able to walk along the water with my pup and watch the fishermen! The area felt like its own little village. Rooms are huge! Breakfast was great, we felt safe, and staff was very kind and helpful (12pm late out for free! And helping me store my luggage for a bit while room was cleaned). I would gladly stay again and/or recommend to others:)"

"Wonderful stay. The supervisor of restaurant in the hotel and restaurant staff were excellent. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. "

"We stayed one night at Puffin Inn for our layover in Anchorage. Prompt and friendly shuttle to and from the airport. Room was small (shower was nice sized!), but very clean and comfortable. It was quiet at night. Breakfast in the morning was the typical breads, cereals, fruit, yogurt, juices/coffee, hard boiled eggs. We ate dinner at a very nice restaurant that was across the street called Alaska Chopped and Chowdered. There are fast food restaurants within walking distance as well, including a Mcdonalds."

"What a find! This was a beautiful hotel right on a lake! We were pleasantly surprised at how upgraded the hotel was and the back area is beautiful! We were able to do some laundry and get a good nights sleep after a week of camping. We tried to stay another night later in the week but it was booked full."
