"The designers of this hotel deserve a 10 out of 10. It is beautiful and the staff are well trained, kind and very knowledgeable about the area. However, we paid for a balcony king room with a view of the river, which we did receive. But on the balcony, the flooring had wood rot, and so it felt unsafe if you put any weight on it at all and the blackout shade that faces the shopping district was missing. So it meant the street lights and the lights from all of the stores lit up our bedroom throughout the entire night. Although it was reported, maintenance was not able to fix it until the following day, which we were checking out. Also, the room was on the end of the building and so the further into the day you moved the hotter, the exterior brick wall in our room became, which made it quite warm in there in the afternoon and evening. The design of the hotel is beautiful, the amenities are great, the food is wonderful. The staff is well trained. It’s just that our room had quite a few maintenance issues."

"This hotel was so perfect for what we wanted! The AC was nice and cold, it was right next to the River walk which made it so easy to get around, and the staff was great."

"Great location to the Riverfront. Could have more parking considering you pay per day. Need to empty trash outside floors and pool are on the regular they were overflowing. Not a quiet location as the Riverfront is pretty rowdy at night."

"Overall the place was good. Staff was nice. The location was great. It was an old building so only one elevator worked but it broke down and I was stuck in it for 15 minutes the fire department came out but we got out before they got there."
Beach House Resort Hilton Head

"The location was unbeatable and our main reason for staying at the property. Great beach access, the Tiki bar and live music was awesome. We enjoyed eating and lounging around the pool. The only downside are the very old and very worn rooms. The hotel rooms desperately need a remodel, especially the bathrooms."
