Top Waterways Visitor Centre Hotel Reviews
The Spencer Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at The Spencer Hotel was lovely. Great location with amazing balcony views. The staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was tasty. Parking was easy to find and a quick convenient walk to the hotel."
Ruby Molly Hotel Dublin by IHG
8/10 Good
"Great space that’s new fresh and vibrant. They need to work on their check in system - wasteful, finicky, unnecessary steps which they call self-check in but it could/should just be done by staff. Otherwise, great location, room was excellent and would recommend to anyone coming to Dublin"
The Leinster
8/10 Good
"A boutique design led hotel that is exactly as is pictured. The staff were warm and professional. Picking up on small details to make interactions personal. The room was well appointed, with a comfortable bed. However, a few small improvements would make stays exceptional. Sustainability: recycling in room, filtered water rather than mineral. Amenities: Room safe, luggage stand, coasters. Details: Thermal suite opening times in room or via TV. Breakfast was available on the 5th floor in great surroundings. The quality was excellent, however could be more generous (one hot drink, juice and main including). No sweet treat. Coffee making could be improved. Only issue: Found Silverfish in bathroom on last day, so must be slightly damp."
Hilton Garden Inn Dublin City Centre

"Needed more cleaning. Dusty bathroom walls and gross carpet. It got noisy on main road if you slept with the window open due to sirens. The A/C was great though. Also location along the Liffey made it easy to find if you are someone who gets drunk/lost. Easy 25/30 min walk to Temple Bar area."
Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin

"The hotel was great. Very clean! Centrally located!!"
Maldron Hotel Pearse Street Dublin City

"Great Hotel, Nice room, good location"
Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane
8/10 Good
"The lobby and restaurant were very nice. The rooms had a bit to catch up: 1) the hydraulic close on the room door was set so every time the door closed, it SLAMMED shut. I heard other doors on our floor do the same. I’m sure the people in neighboring rooms were probably annoyed if it wasn’t their door closing (and the door looked to be one of those 40 year old wooden -core doors, so real heavy; 2) the door to the bathroom was rotting from moisture and likely mold. Both of my kids seemed to be having some allergic reaction which they only have to mold; 3) the shower drain was not working. When I took a shower I was standing in my own filthy water; and 4) there were three of us in our room. They only gave us two bath towels. I called the front desk to ask for one more, and the guy said they would send one up. Well, after an hour without receiving a towel, and getting close to the time we had to leave, I ended up using a hand towel to dry my body. Pretty bad service."
