"I was disappointed with my stay. I had a major water leak at home and booked this hotel expecting a smooth experience, but that was not the case. I checked in during the evening and was given two key cards that did not work. My room was on the top floor at the end of the hallway, so I used my mobile phone to call the front desk for assistance and was on hold for 15 minutes before walking back to the lobby to report the issue. As a person of a certain age, this was challenging for me. The clerk gave me two new key cards and met me at the room to ensure they worked. They did, but I also learned the door was very hard to open. He commented that “at least I know it would be difficult for someone to come in,” which was not reassuring. The shade covering the balcony window was difficult to pull closed. The television would not turn on after several attempts, so I called the front desk again. The clerk said he could not come up until his colleague returned from break. I waited for over an hour and called back—by then, I was ready to turn in for the night. He apologized for the delay and eventually came up to fix the TV. However, when I turned it off for bed, it would not turn back on in the morning. I also discovered that the outlets on both sides of the bed did not work, which made it impossible to use my laptop comfortably. The hotel manager only offered 2,000 Bonvoy points, which does not reflect the inconvenience and multiple issues I experienced during my stay."

"The furniture and carpet in the room were outdated. The carpet was gapping, lifted up in spots in the middle of the room and the furniture is chipping. The shower also needs an upgrade."

"Room was big, bed and pillows were comfortable. I wasn't thrilled with the smell of the towels....they had that smell like when they've been left in the washer too long before they were dried. Also, the drain in our bathroom was clogged a bit, so it drained really slowly and made gurgling noises. Other than that, everything was very good. They do a nice breakfast with great variety. Good coffee, and lots of non-dairy options, as well as providing gluten-free muffins which I've never seen at a hotel breakfast before. Overall, a nice hotel stay."

"We booked and paid for 2 Queen beds. We did not get that. 1 king bed with pull out sofa is what we were given. I checked at desk and they said they sold out. Very confusing as we booked (reserved) two queen beds. How do you give our room away? Sofa bed pretty rough as well. Lady at desk did her best but couldn't do anything. We usually have great stays with Home2Suites. Unfortunately, this was not one of those."
