"Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."

The cottage was clean and cosy. Tastefully decorated. It was well equipped with what you need for a comfortable stay. Free WiFi. TV with Net Flix etc.Nice bathroom with bath and shower. "The cottage is a bit tired but well equiped, clean and comfortable. The instructions to find the key were terrible! it says get them from a key safe padlocked to the front railings at the front of the house and they were at the back, attached to the house. Google maps cannot find the address so we followed the instructions given. It mentions a car show room that it is not there anymore (a convenient Tesco instead). The Barnstaple Hotel

The Barnstaple Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival. The shower was amazing and after walking a big section of the SWCP it was very welcomed. Sadly we ran out of puff to enjoy the pool (indoor and outside). The ability to park and leave vehicles there was an added benefit. The bar menu offered great choices, and the breakfast was a pleasant treat. I would deffo recommend and be more than happy to return next time I am in the area."
