The food is generic - straight from the freezer variety, with menu descriptions that are overly optimistic. For example the 'skin still on fries' were micro-slim with only one of 50 having anything approaching skin on a side - and clearly straight from the oven.
Why can't a large, busy and above averagely expensive hotel have a real kitchen, with real chefs working in it to produce real good food? Change your business model and clients will appreciate it.
And to describe breakfast as 'complimentary' is as insulting to a guest's intelligence as it is untrue - of course we pay for it as part of our fee for staying, it is in no way free. Just say it's included as part of the price.
Apart from that, the bed was lumpy and the pillows too hard. But, the staff were really lovely.
