"There was no hotel staff on site at check-in, we needed to convince the bar staff to call somebody to get our check-in info… apparently this should’ve been emailed (door room & code) to us, but it never was. Aside from the poor first impression, the place was clean and nice, and decent breakfast too"
"I had a Nurburgring track day and this was the best place to go for it so far. Right in the middle of the action. The hotel was great, the staff friendly. Drinks were very very expensive though, that is about the only negative."
"Stayed here previously, it's now been taken over by the Nurburgring and appears better run than previously. Large houses with room to park a couple of cars. The places are always very clean and good value for a group/family. Breakfast was better than our previous visits.
If you have very low cars it's wise to request a flatter driveway prior to your visit."
"Beautiful location, very clean room. Great view of the Moselle river and the surrounding spectacular landscape. Great dining and breakfast. Unfortunately we did not dine at the nicely set up white-linen Restaurant except breakfast. We were unaware (or did not read the fine prints) that we should have called ahead if we are arriving after 6 PM on the first night of check-in. We arrived late due to late start from Frankfurt. But the owners were kind enough to check us in. The only major draw back for us was the cigarette smoke which constantly made its way into the room and the hallway. Even though the owners assured us every room was a non-smoking room and a no-smoking sticker was on each room, a strong cigarette smoke from elsewhere in the building made it into our room and the hallway. I am very sensitive to the smoke and had a hard time with it. This rooms are great for smokers, but not really so good for people who dislike cigarette smoke and are with respiratory problems. The owners need to look into the smoke problem and remove the source of it. Other than that, it is a great place to stay."
"Good location. Free parking. Lovely few from the balcony. The room was fine. Beds could be more comfortable.
The breakfast not the best though. Meat left open in room temperature. Flies crawling all over the meat platter. Salami looked great in the edges. Milk tasted off. Even orange juice looked more brown than orange. So it's safe to say if you get a food poisoning on your holiday the hotel breakfast is like corporate."
