"Close to the harbor and very scenic area. Bathroom light stayed on our whole trip. Could have nicer bed covering and sheets. The elevator scared us every time. we even took a video of the loud noise and thump when the doors were about to open .A little work on the property and a carpet cleaning would help."

"It is a older hotel but in general it was ok. It was fairly quiet but we were on the top floor at the end of hall which probably helped. The room was fairly clean. There was a small stain on our sheets and the housekeeping staff was quick at replacing the sheets. There is no a/c in the room but it was not extremely hot outside as it was April. You could only open the windows slightly for fresh air and there was a fan in the room. So we manage to keep the room at a decent temperature. I can imagine in the summer being really hot without a/c. Staff was helpful. Price is relatively high for what it is but I guess you pay to be in Victoria."

"Breakfasts were lovely and plentiful, parking was easy and convenient! Very impressive heritage building, but all the flights of stairs too difficult to manage. We only had a bathtub, which was pretty inconvenient. Decor needs upgrading. Rachel, the manager, was so lovely and also very helpful. "
