Immediately upon booking I received a text message from the staff letting me know someone was there to help with any questions. checking in was easy and the hotel was very clean. The room, beds and bathroom were all clean and well kept. The free breakfast was a plus. "

"Check in was super easy as Lisa sent me the code for the front door and our room. We arrived late so we checked ourselves in. She explained the process very well and it was a breeze getting in and finding our room. The place is breathtakingly beautiful. Love the decour, size of the room and amenities they offer. Would definitely recommend staying there and I can't wait to go back there in the winter."

"This is such a charming, historic New England bed and breakfast. The quintessential Vermont experience right in the heart of the quaint village of West Dover. The Innkeeper knows all the people & places around. Homemade breakfast options are delicious, I had the local blueerry waffles. The Blueberry Festival parade passed right in front of the inn. I drank the Inn's coffee in the morning outside on their lawn, on one of the oversized stone seats around the firepit. There are books on the shelves and games in the living room. The Inn is in a perfect location, walking distance - with sidewalks - to multiple restaurants. And just 10 minutes to the town of Wilmington and the GORGEOUS water at Harriman Reservoir or Lake Raponda. There's 2 golf courses a few minutes away. And 2 ski mountains too! This place is super quiet, but close to whatever you might need. The Inn is filled with cozy furnishings, antiques, fireplaces, etc. Lovely lovely, so New England, so Vermont. "

"I love staying at the Mountaineer. I stay there every time I go to Vermont. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Parking is very easy good location, central to many restaurants and other amenities. Very nice coffee bar beautiful pool for swimming. great atmosphere. Love the easy check-inprocess. Everything is digital no keys to worry about."

"The inn was located on a beautiful piece of property offering peaceful scenery, lovely gardens, charming ponds and quaint buildings. Our young family stayed here for two nights in July. We found the inn a perfect getaway for us and our 4 year old daughter. We enjoyed the pool, the restaurants were great and the nearby towns offered plenty to see and do. We highly recommend staying here and we can’t wait to visit again! "

"As a small family of 3 with one 6 year old child we don't mind sharing a hotel room, but when staying longer than 2 days we would prefer a more comfortable environment, especially when weather conditions are not favorable for skiing. We loved the comfort of the apartment, the flexibility of mobility throughout the floor plan, the ability to grocery shop and prepare food, the access to the amenities such as pool, sauna, jacuzzi, laundry and then of course the Mountain View! The outdoor patio was great for fresh air as the apartment is on the 2nd story. Not much to complain about with this experience! We wish we found this apartment option earlier in the season, but we will make sure to book again in 2026!!! "
