"It was a nice clean hotel love how warm the pool was. No hot tub but at least the pool wasn’t cold."

"Parking was great. No hotel staff to greet us in arrival, waited five ten minutes to check in. Initial thoughts were nice room. Tried to use the pool, it was broken and freezing and the slide was barricaded off because “there aren’t enough people to use it so we don’t”. Staff Roger was a really helpful and nice guy who seemed to have his hands tied and full. I commend him for trying to make us happy. The remote for the TV didn’t work so asked for new batteries, did not help so ended up using the buttons on the TV instead, mildly inconvenient. The hotel was nice enough to bring us a couple of pops as a courtesy. I tried to shower and could not get the water to stay hot and trying to set it to a consistent temperature was impossible and mostly just freezing like the pool. The linens were itchy and I could not get comfortable to sleep. Ended up leaving at 10:30 for the three hour drive home! As much as Roger tried he could not make this stay better. "

"I was really impressed with the Front desk staff, going above and beyond when I had an issue,. One concern, and it was specific to us, I hope. There was a cleaning gentleman who spent an odd amount of time staring at my friend's daughter in her bikini and pointing his camera at her. He repeatedly cleaned the same section of railing for almost 25 minutes. I commented to the front desk, and they said it would be investigated."

"Likes-Proximity to Retail Therapy -walking distance to eating and entertainment -ample parking -pool and hot tub facilities with seating was welcomed -spacious, comfortable room with all the amenities -morning staff, including front desk and breakfast staff -breakfast buffet was fantastic, providing an assortment for all -hallways, decor and general design was pleasant Dislikes-we raised a concern as to the attention to detail on cleanliness in our room ( floor and windows) we were advised to place Make up Room sign on door and our issues would be looked after. -minimal work on windows, film was just smeared around -floor may have been swept but not washed -bed not made, soiled towels left and coffee table not wiped -mattress was well-used with an obvious dip on right sleeping side"

"This hotel bills itself as a “Boutique Hotel” but it seemed like a kitschy way of explaining why the property was frozen in the 80’s. My room (king suite) was very spacious, but had many issues: crumpled tissues and other small litter left on the floor, small blood stains on the bed sheet, insufficient towels, stopper for tub did not work. These all can be put down to lack of attention by cleaning staff. Fortunately the duty staff was excellent in resolving all the issues and even offered to move me to another room. I was pleasantly surprised by a partial refund when I checked out the next day. The continental breakfast was very limited, so if you’re a big eater you might want to plan to go out for breakfast. Upon checking in, the hotel will offer you a coupon for 15% off a number of downtown restaurants. I urge you to take advantage of this, the restaurants were all nearby(5-10) walking distance) and their offerings were very good. We went to the Brick House Craft Burger Restaurant and the food and prices were excellent!! One final note is parking. The hotel offers free parking at the local municipal parking garage, but it is a 5 minute block-and-half away. Despite the issues with the room, we would be willing to go back to this hotel."

"My main issue with this hotel was the poor sound insulation. The walls and doors let a lot of noise through, especially loud door slamming during the evening and night. I woke up several times because of the noise, which made my stay uncomfortable. I find this level of noise disturbance unacceptable for a hotel stay. Another issue was the flooring in the room. The floor was extremely cold, there were no carpets, and the hotel did not provide slippers or sandals. Most guests do not automatically plan to bring their own, especially since hotel rooms usually have carpets or basic indoor slippers for comfort."
