We appreciate all feedback from our guests. In fact we ask our guests directly for feedback (good & bad) being that our ownership of The Inn is relatively new. I just wish Angela would have communicated with me directly instead of blindsiding me with a review that inaccurately paints The Inn as average when it is actually quite an extraordinary home. Many of her concerns could have been addressed directly to allow her a more pleasurable experience. I would hope that any guest would let me know if something was left on a dining table (especially a food item) used by a guest who sat there before them and they would understand that is was certainly something randomly overlooked and not a common occurrence. I remember your stay. I had tried a new hash brown recipe with scrambled eggs. If you didn't care for that option, tell me! I would have made you something else! I'm more than happy to accommodate. But I have never heard anyone comment that breakfast at The Langworthy Inn is anything less that harty. As anyone can imagine when taking over a B&B from a couple who was more than ready to retire, that all of the improvements needed and desired don't happen overnight. The Langworthy Inn is a charming historical home. Direct feedback from guests has included the desire for bathroom vanities. We hear you! In the interim, there are tables that have been placed next to the bathroom sinks where you can set your things. There is central heat and a/c on the third floor with thermostats in each room. The thermostats on the other floors control the entire floor and were kept at 62 degrees that weekend. They are also accessible to be adjusted as needed for guest comfort. We do place decorative soaps in the bathrooms but they accompany a large body wash dispensers and every bathroom has hooks for hanging towels and robes. I apologize if there were any bugs that happened onto the bathroom floor after I cleaned the room. We take everything our guests share about their stay very seriously. We are taking this historic gem and working to make it into a modern antique. If there is something that you notice or causes concern, please, pull me aside immediately. Bring it to my attention. As you see here we want you to have only the best experience now and in the future.
