"When we opened the door to our room, it was immediately obvious that someone else was already staying there. When we returned to the front desk and told them of the problem (and that we had reserved a king sized bed) we were told that there were no kings available and that getting a room through a third party was no guarantee that we would get what we had paid for.
We were assigned a handicap accessible room, which had an awkward bathroom set up and a shower head that was shorter than me, and I’m 5’ 7”. The hair dryer had a button that had to be held down to keep the dryer operating. I stopped drying my hair before it was completely dry because my hand got so tired.
There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room, which would have been nice with some leftovers we had. (Not something that I checked for on the website. Those two things tend to be pretty standard in typical hotel rooms.). The guide on the television didn’t match what the channels actually were.
We showed up for breakfast at 6:00 which is the time the front desk clerk had told us breakfast started. Turns out on the weekends it doesn’t start until 6:30. We ended up going ahead and checking out because we wanted an early start to getting our daughter moved."
"Floors were dirty, TV did not work, no hand soap in the room, had to ask for extra wash rags and towels, trash was laying in the walkway to get to the room that had not been picked up, breakfast was very basic that you had to get the milk and very limited juice out of the fridge that was sitting next to the employees lunch for the day, about the same thickness between the sheet and the comforter(that was probably bought in the 80's when the motel was built).
Pro's: HOT water, soft pillows, the toilet paper was 2 ply, and cheaper price for a motel, but you get what you pay for."
"The room was adequate and appropriate for the price. However, the shower had not been cleaned and there was a large amount of long, black hair on the walls of the shower. Quite disgusting."
"Booked it because they advertised a pool and hot tub. Both were inoperative and I later found out they had been closed for about a month. That’s just unsatisfactory and cheap on their part! Also, if they’re going to advertise a pool and hot tub, then when those amenities are broken they should have the good customer service sense to take them off the internet so customers can pick a hotel that has what they want. Also our bathroom had dirty walls. At breakfast I watched an elderly customer struggling with getting coffee and the guy behind the desk kept telling him how to do it instead of coming out to help, so I went over and helped him. The guy behind the counter just appeared totally indignant that the poor guy couldn’t understand him."
