"Had a lovely 2 night stay at The Beresford Hotel. My daughter and I shared a sea view twin room with ensuite. On arrival it looks quite run down and parking isnt great and is limited, however if you get a space they print a sign stating your name and reg number for £5 per night. This ensures you a parking space. We had an Assistance Dog and a retired Assistance Dog, who is now old and nothing was too much trouble and thevwere made to feel welcome, along with us. The beds were comfortable and the room was well equipped, personally the small table and chairs were brilliant for me as I like to write. The bathroom was clean and had all you needed. The seaview was amazing and the cost of thr room was fantastic. We will be returning again soon. Thank you. "

"The overall stay: The Reception Managers were Excellent especially helpful carrying our Heavy case to the third floor Attic room 23 overlooking a flat roof garden below. The Suite was excellent but the carpet needed to be replaced. The inclusive Breakfast was plentiful and served by happy Staff. Although there was not a lift my wife’s Mobility scooter was carried into reception and carried back to the front of the hotel for my wife to use during the day. We would definitely be happy to stay again. "

"Just returned home after a lovely week’s break at this property. Great location just off the beach at Porth. On arrival, we followed instructions to access building using key codes. No problems getting in. We had been allocated a dog friendly apartment at the back of building on ground floor. Sadly, no view of the beach but we did find it quiet and well suited to our needs. There was a small outside area with table and chairs and steps leading to an upper area too. It was secure enough to safely let our dog out there. The apartment had two bedrooms, one with en-suite. There was also a separate bathroom so spoilt for choice with just two of us staying there. Large living area with kitchen. We spent our week travelling around Cornwall and found the location perfect for visiting St Ives, Penzance, Port Isaac, Padstow to name just a few. The nearest pub we found to eat was The Mermaid situated on Porth Beach but we particularly enjoyed the food at The Farmer’s Arms in St Columb Minor which was just a few minutes drive away. On our final day, we chose to walk into Newquay along the coastal path from Porth beach. Lovely views as it was thankfully a fine day. Car parking in Newquay was difficult so would definitely recommend walking into centre if you’re able to. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return there in the future. "
