"Walking distance the small town of Cascade Locks. If you didn't get a room with a view- and they looked super nice- there is a small deck out back with tables and chairs to also get a great view. Best coffee ever right down the street at Thirsty Cafe. Breakfast is in the restuarant next door with several options for hotel guests and an awesome view while eating."

"The Rayburn Hotel is being renovated. Check-in for the Dalles Inn is located in the alley behind Rayburn. Staff was friendly and helpful, continental breakfast, even though Staff seemed to be in a storage closet. I loved the beds and just because I did, will make a point to stay at this property when I travel through the area. Thank you. 1 problemis all first level room at the Dalles seem to be single beds. Travelling with my brother we needed two, and I am disrooms on the appeared to be a storage closet.. apyears"

"The hotel was great, I wish my stay wasnt an impromptu so I could have seen more of it! The food was great and most of the staff was super friendly with the exception of the restaurant hostess that evening. She was very rude and told me that I would need to hurry once I received my food! The rest of the waitstaff was outstanding!"

"Check in was quick, staff was very friendly. Didnt expect a large, non refundable pet deposit as it wasn't posted but at midnight, i was too tired to argue. Would stay again, very comfortable with a nice bed and room was clean. "
