"The room was adequate, but the bathroom cleanliness needed some attention. The shower had stains and the accessible chair paint was peeling and rusted. I ask for my towels to be replaced and additional toilet paper two days in a row. "
"I overpaid for the the rooms by a day and realized my mistake immediately and asked for a refund of the one day. The hotel refused. Then Air Canada canceled my flight because of the staff strike. I could not travel. I asked fora refund. The hotel declined since I did not pay extra fee for a refund. No empathy. I lost almost $700 t o the hotel without staying there. Holiday Inn Express London - Stratford by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Stay for Abba Voyage. Hotel between Abba and Westfield shopping centre, walkable to both. Clean, smart rooms with air con! Friendly, polite staff. Good breakfast. I would recommend and stay again. "
"This is a cute boutique hotel in a great spot in downtown London. Checking in was easy and smooth and we were within walking distance of tons of restaurants, stores, and transportation. The room was nice, if small. I accidentally booked a room without windows, which was a new experience, but the mood lighting in the room helped alleviate that to some degree.
The lobby is a nice place to relax and the Continental breakfast was great, with tons of options and fresh pastries.
Some small downsides that aren't a big deal but worth mentioning:
The room did not have a lot of storage for our clothes. The far side of the bed didn't have outlets and we had to run a cord across the bed to charge a phone overnight.
The room was also a bit stuffy, without much ventilation.
Would definitely stay here again if I came into town."
"A most unusual and quirky hotel in a good way. Loved the whole concept. Staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. Was a little off the main track but we got used to the buses quickly "
