Keeping in mind that I'm reviewing a La Quinta and not a high-end five star hotel, I give full marks to La Quinta Williamsburg for being exactly what it is supposed to be: a reasonably priced, safe and clean hotel, with a friendly staff, a simple breakfast buffet, located very close to Historic Williamsburg ( 4-5 minute drive), and very convenient to both Jamestown and Yorktown, if you're doing the "Historic Triangle." The hotel is a 3 minute drive to a road lined with a variety of restaurants, and is next door to a 7-11 gas station. It was a very convenient location for us, and I'll happily stay here again if we visit the area in the future.

This was a fairly run down hotel in desperate need of a renovation. The breakfast was good. Housekeeping was by request only which was odd to me. This is minor but they also need more luggage carts.

We had an amazing time. This hotel was so much better than the last one we got. They were friendly, and respectful. Anything I needed all I had to was ask and they got it for us.

With no working pool or fitness center and only one working ice machine per building, I would call this a 2 star hotel not three. Building clearly needs some updates. Otherwise, decent breakfast, nice staff.

Breakfast was really good. Bedroom was ok but the bathroom was so so. Coffee maker wasn't cleaned there was a used filter that wasn't disposed. Entrance in the middle of the bldg. is not secured hence anybody can get in.

The LaQuinta, Williamsburg is perfectly located to be convenient to everything the area has to offer, especially Colonial Williamsburg. Though the physical plant has been in service for many years, it seems to be well maintained and has a fresh appearance. It offered an excellent value. All staff members were very courteous and eager to please. Our stay was everything we could ask for.

Service personel seemed to have an attitude and were not very helpful ! Had grand kids alomg and the pool was closed with no explanation and so was the work out room.The garbage cans arround the property were overflowing and never empty.This certainly did not live up to Wyndom standards and we will certainly think twice about staying at any Wyndom in the future

Little teeny tiny bars of soap for shower and bathtub was disgusting. The staff that greeted me when I first arrived. There was horribly rude peeling paint on the walls big holes in the carpet. The only reason I stayed is because it was graduation weekend, and there was nothing else available, but never again.

The hotel needs a lot of attention. The rooms are in poor condition. Cracking, dirty walls, dirty carpets and drapes ( what parts of the drapes that are hung up.) We had to change rooms because of lighting issues. Staff was very nice. It’s a convenient location. I hope they update the rooms. Won’t go back until they do.
