Nice; acceptable as very few lodging options.
Nice hotel, without many amenities. Not a lot of options in Winamac or nearby towns. Everything was unplugged initially, so it took a bit to get the room cool. 2nd floor, and door opened to an internal hallway. When the a/c shut off, the cigarette smoke crept into the room which was a little unpleasant. But beds and bathroom were clean and everything worked.

it is an older motel. but it was roomy and clean. There was no noise. and it was comfortable. If you are looking for a place to stay without all the extras at a great price, this is it. There are many dining options available nearby.

The motel is not bad for the price just a bit run down however Hotels.com has the address wrong and sends you to the middle of nowhere.

I drove 6 hours to see my best friend before I moved across country, I stayed here, the carpets were dirty, the bathroom was dirty, the clean washclothes were stained, my comforter was filthy, there were bedbugs and the shower did not work

Very picky and difficult guest and on top she is lieying about the bed bugs. Also lied about paid rent and it wasn't paid in advance.

I didnt like the fact that i paid $64.20 online and you guys take my money. Then i get to the hotel and get charged an additional $64.20. Pretty sad when people double dip especially when it comes to money that should feed my children. Last ever time i will be using this service. Ripoff

I am sorry to hear that Travelocity charged you rent . It will always say that hotel collects the payment on your iternery when you book the room. So I am not sure they would double charge you.

Good night's rest
Clean, quiet, comfortable room with a good bed and functioning climate control. That was all I needed. The place is rather out of date but I would gladly stay there again. WIFI worked only intermittently, so I ended up using my data for the little bit of internet I needed while there.

I am from Winamac and was in town to enjoy having a garage sale at my cousin's home. I stayed at the Indian Head since it was close. The room smelt bad, curtain rod ready to fall, TV not clear on any channels, sheets I felt needed new ones, towel paper thin. First nite I was down stairs easier than going upstairs. Went to cancel room for Friday nite and lady at desk gave me one upstairs. New pillows, sheets, TV worked great, room didn't smell, better than one down stairs. Still need new towels and no bath mat. For the price it not worth it.

Only Motel in Town
Negative: Little to no hot water, hard to work the faucets. Phone did not work. Curtains were so worn and thin the sunlight poured in. Linens: towels and wash cloths were horribly stained like, black dirt stained. Did not want to wash with the wash cloths. The rug did not feel clean. NO Internet. Bad cable with poor (fuzzy) reception. No vent fan in bathroom with little to no lighting. Very few outlets. Positive: CHEAP, only motel in town. beds were semi-comfy. Large room with space to move around. Large area to hang cloths. Heater and air conditioning worked well but had duct tape around the entire unit. Huge parking lot.

Location is great at north edge of town
The drapes were dirty and so was the shower curtain. Carpet and beds were ok. The building is in need of repair. Parking was fine.
