I’m not one for writing bad reviews for businesses. However, from the moment we stepped foot in this establishment the day of check in, we were met by two extremely rude women at the front desk. One claims to be a manager but no manager I’ve ever met is as ignorant and downright disrespectful to guests the way this woman was. The receptionist was equally unpleasant, told me they don’t take Apple Pay (they do) and did not know how to do her job at all.
The rooms were not worth the price. Our security lock meant to keep US secure in our room was completely missing from the door. Holes exposed where it once was. The toilet had some kind of sandy residue in it. Clear tell-all that it had not been scrubbed prior to our stay. Shower drain didn’t work properly so any shower taken, you were standing in several inches of dirty shower water. There was a hole in our wall and several extremely loose outlets… unsafe, not to code, and unusable as chargers wouldn’t even stay physically plugged into them anyhow. The building quality in general is very cheap, the elevator is sketchy, and the main door at entrance 2 never securely closed.
To make matters worse, the city experienced a power outage for several hours our finally night there and someone who had physical keys to the building (GM maybe?) told us the reason the second and first floor had power but the third floor didn’t was because the third floor didn’t have backup generators set up for it, where the other floors did.
