"The hotel is lacking in cleanliness, our room had thick layers of dust on the surfaces and the inside of the wardrobe was filthy, the plug chain to the sink was in 3 pieces placed next to the tap and the bathroom door did not shut properly. The windows could all do with a clean and there were cobwebs to many of them with insects trapped so obviously had been there sometime.The bedside cabinet was broken inside. Breakfast was laid out covered in cling film that everyone had tried to remove and we had to request knives as there were none available. We gave polite feedback to the proprietor who blamed the cleaners, she offered us some money back and advised us to phone with our details but then was not in her office when we spoke to her on 2 occasions so could not process the money offered and also lost our number so could not call us back ? The fabric of the hotel is very nice, but it is sadly lacking in standards of hygiene and health and safety."

"We arrived by bus and were able to leave our case with Reception until the booking in time. The people we dealt with were very quick to deal with our requests, such as exchanging the sparkling water in the room for still water, and replenishing the fridge on the second day."

"Easily accessed our room which was light and airy as the windows had been left open. Room was very clean and comfortable. Shower was hot. Breakfast the next morning was delicious with the cafe staff super friendly. Check out was straight forward. We were lucky with parking out on the main road. "

"This was my second stay at the corners over the Easter weekend. A lovely country inn in the middle of Kingsland. I use it as a base whilst visiting friends in the village. Clean and well maintained rooms, staff are friendly and helpful. Cooked breakfast, made freshly and delicious. "

"The photos of this property are completely misleading, as in reality it is very very different! The room was small, nowhere to put anything, the en-suite was tatty with broken shelf over sink, dirty mirror and a shower that was pretty poor! The room was cold & uninviting! Other parts of the property were full of clutter & just looked uncared for and needs a complete overhaul. I can’t believe we paid good money to stay here!! "

"To be honest I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s a little out the way and there isn’t really anything nearby apart from a few pubs that you have to drive to. They stopped serving food at 5pm and I was there as a work trip staying away. The bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab. Very uncomfortable so I didn’t sleep well. The shower was nice and warm though and the room was very clean. "
