"A very welcoming hotel in the middle of Fish Hoek. All the staff we met could not do enough for us. Although there is no restaurant, The Peak coffee shop at 50m was great."

"The view is what sells the apartment .. it's all downhill from there really. Or should I say 'uphill' as there are 53 steps and 4 potholed paths to get to and from the top apt. Had the number of steps been advertised I would not have booked a stay at the Cove. There is quite a lot of noise from the road and railway which runs right outside. If the look they were going for was 'shabby chic' .. they certainly achieved 'Shabby' ! Walls marked and plaster crumbling away in various places. ...

"I spent a perfect week at the Muize, and truly enjoyed relaxing at the property as well as talking easy walks to the beach and waterfront restaurants. The hosts are very kind and helpful, and taking some add-on tours of the Cape Town area was wonderful! Breakfast each morning was delicious too! I loved my stay and hope to return."

"The place is lovely, and the cottage was very charming, but I felt like the place needed a better clean, especially considering the price. The drying rack in the kitchen had a grime build-up, and the shower floor was quite grubby. I also noticed some hair on the floor under one of the beds, and the vase was hiding an ant family that came out during the night. The sofa could also do with an update, as the seat cushions were really misshapened, and not comfortable to sit on. Otherwise, it's a...

"This property was not at all what I expected. There was a thousand stairs to the guesthouse which is terrible. This was not mentioned on the website Our room showed a view but there was a big tree in front of the view. The toilet in the room was enclosed with such a small space that the door could not be closed. No tea or coffee facilities in the room with only a communal kitchen. The room was clean but there was not even soap in the room as expected. Will not make use or recommend this...
