"I stayed in the Horse and Farrier pub, which was busy when I arrived. Quick check in process and my room was lovely and very comfy. Just a quick overnight stop for work this time. Good quality linen and towels, clean. Great nights sleep - no noise from downstairs. Breakfast was included and was cooked to order. "

"The hotel was very well presented in a scruffy and disappointing town. The quality of the catering at the hotel was exceptional. Some of the best food I’ve eaten in an hotel in a very long time. The menu was imaginative with some nice detail and the delivery exceeded expectations. The town wouldn’t attract me back but I would be prepared to travel some distance to sample the food again."

"We had a lovely weekend stay at this country pub with rooms. The owners are lovely and very friendly and welcoming. Its a dog friendly place, so for us, that was perfect. Our room (room 2) was on the ground floor and had a door leading out to the garden, great if you have a dog. The room was a good size and very comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities, tv and a hairdryer. The king sized bed was good and the bathroom was lovely. We ate dinner and breakfast here both days and the food...

"Lovely room and great views from the room over the estuary. The corner shower is a little small and the outside steps up to the property could be a problem for some guests. We had breakfast at the Pennington Hotel, whilst the food was good the service is very slow, had to ask for tea several times and for the servers to take our cooked breakfast order. "
