Hotels near Wren Building

"The staff was great! Very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was Continental. Many stations spread across large dining room. We were hoping for something a bit more. Again staff was great! The pool area looked very nice. Great place for families with many activities for the kids. Beside the Colonial Williamsburg visitor center with free shuttles to the historic area. They also had a very nice path that was 1/2 mile to walk. Hotel was a bit dated. Could use some love, but overall property was mostly comfortable. I would consider staying again "

"We really liked this hotel! It's bright, clean, good breakfast with large variety, and exceptional staff. It's not fancy but at this price, that's not the point. A bus load of students arrived when we did, which made us question how much sleep we'd get. We didn't hear a peep! We would definitely stay again!"

"Look, if you're just looking for a place to crash/sleep when visiting Williamsburg and aren't too picky, or a "Karen", this place will suffice. Otherwise, you may want to look elsewhere. The property overall does not match the outside façade or lobby. The room was typical hotel "meh"...nothing exceptionally good OR bad about it. The "Continental" breakfast ended up just being orange juice and coffee. But the only real, legitimate complaints I can offer are that the pool water desperately needed a shock treatment and the hot tub water was NOT acceptable whatsoever. I'd have been fine without a hot tub at all, but if you're going to have one in your facility and brag about it, it needs to be maintained, cleaned, and treated properly. Overall, nothing except "first-world"/"luxe" problems to report. Otherwise, it IS a safe place to sleep."
