Cars were parked not within bays which made it difficult to park but don't think management can be blamed for this. I was worried on reading some of the reviews but had a good stay. "Hotel is in the heart of Manchester city centre, a stones throw away from Manchester Piccadilly train station (with a direct link to Manchester Airport). Room itself is fine, but as usual with Malmaison hotels, it is rather dark."

"As always, the clock tower is very clean, the staff is unbelievable and super helpful, the hotel is stunning, the breakfast is definitely the best I’ve had in the UK, and the location is very central. We actually walked from the Piccadilly train station to the hotel, no issues."

"Receptionist refused to hand over key cards to my 2 daughters even after i checked in online. Made the stay negative from the 1st minute they stepped into the hotel. When they say they treat everyone as an adult over the age of 15 is a lie. A 17 and 19 year old was not allowed to check in until I sent my photo ID in an email. Follow up messages to my daughters were about quality of sleep. Very poor due to substandard pillows."
