Elizabeth Oceanfront Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"We've been staying at the Elizabeth St. Inn for many years. The absolute best thing going for them is the oceanfront location. The rooms are average, with fantastic balconies overlooking the ocean. The breakfast is not worthy of the hotel price, hasn't been since they closed the actual cooked breakfast room on floor 3. The evening seafood chowder and cookies are nice. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms seem to have been going through updating and renovations for a few years now. They are clean, and the fireplaces are nice. The bathrooms are okay, toilets are very loud flushes, and the shower pressure is adequate. The mini fridge is small but enough for evening drinks. The coffee maker is slow, but it works. Hopefully the adjacent properties will be developed soon, as the vibe walking south towards Georgie's restaurant is lacking. Great walk north from the property to Nye Beach shops and restaurants. Overall, great location and staff, with an average room and amenities."
