"A hot spring-style bath (onsen) is terrific. It helped me relax after the long international trip from the U.S. (Boston). The breakfast is just gorgeous. Both Western and Japanese-style food are delightful, especially for Westerners. Since most clients are male Japanese businessmen, you get to see the non-touristy, "real" side of Japan. "

Vegetarian options are available for breakfast ( Japanese style bento box food) We stayed at Jasper Morrison’s wood box room (fantastic!) and joined free art tour.
