"I'd totally go back to Tupa Lodge. When I booked, I saw some bad reviews, but a lot of it was about the last little bit of road, like 300 to 400 meters. The road's a bit rough, but that's not unusual around here. Just drive a bit slower and you will be fine. We used Uber and taxis with no problems. I actually think that's a good thing—less traffic means less noise. The peace and quiet are the best part of the lodge. The grounds are beautiful and chill, right on the river looking at Paraguay to the west. The cabins are clean and rustic but have everything you need. The staff were super nice. The day we left, our flight got delayed, and they were cool with us staying an extra 4 hours and using everything. There's a beautiful deck and a two-level pool, perfect for chilling after a long day or just hanging out all day if you want. The restaurant has local food, and the local fish I had was amazing. They were fine with dietary restrictions. The whole vibe of the place was relaxing and welcoming. This is a lodge and not the Ritz Carlton. I totally recommend Tupa Lodge."

"Room was okay, minimal electrical outlets, wifi worked well. Staff are nice enough, however, absolutely no English spoken, was an issue for us, but that is on us, not on them. Service in restaurant was horrible, had to go to front desk repeatedly to get someone to help us. Most importantly, had hotel book a transfer to the airport (with written confirmation). Transfer was late. At 10 minutes late, we asked them to contact the transfer company. At 20 minutes late, we called an Uber. It arrived in 2 minutes. We have no idea if the transfer ever arrived"
