"The hotel is stylish and relaxing. The location is close to lots of dining and shops but located in a quiet area. The pool, lobby, and restaurant all occupy one large space but it feels less like a hotel and more like a tropical rain forest inside. The lush greenery is breathtaking and refreshing. Every detail is carefully chosen to fit the aesthetic design of the hotel. I highly recommend the breakfast upgrade for guests but even without including it in the room price, the food is a great value and did not disappoint. The selection of both Western and Indonesian cuisine in addition to the fresh fruit juices made eating at the Art Kitchen Resto a treat. One other thing to mention is the dedication to sustainable tourism. The hotel does a wonderful job at helping to make guests aware of eco-friendly options such as reusable glass bottles in guestrooms instead of disposable plastic and signage about disposing of items properly instead of flushing it to preserve clean oceans. I definitely plan to stay again."

"Has been staying at Aston grp hotel many times. As usual, room, breakfast n services are excellent. Love their buffet bfast spread; too many choices. Btw, this hotel location is great. Very near the train station and the famous tourist attraction, Malioboro, is just a few minutes walk. Just love everything here."

"Stayed for three nights, had an absolutely wonderful time. Highlights were the gorgeous pool (just the right temperature, every other pool we’ve had in Indonesia has been way too hot!), the friendly staff, and the enormous breakfast buffet — if you’re hesitating about paying the extra for the free breakfast, it’s absolutely worth it, and it’s a little different every day. There was some construction going on and we had a city view room which would have looked out onto it, so they were kind enough to move our room to a different city view without making us ask. My only complaint is that the lounge/bar, the Pink Elephant, was closed the whole time we were there due to the construction. A very minor inconvenience, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. Despite that, excellent stay!"
