Great place to stay and relax. Walkable to places. Next time, we will stay at Yokohama instead of Tokyo which is only 30 -45 min train ride and cheaper hotels.

Great stay with yummy breakfast.

Helpful and kind staff. It rained during our stay and the hotel lent us all umbrellas. They also stored our bags before check-in and after check out. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and beds very comfortable.

What is interesting is that the hotel is somewhat cramped but well positioned which is I expect its appeal. However, it is quite old and I had the benefit to also visit the Kyoto Hotel (in Horikawagojo) which was newer and more roomy all round. I found the breakfast time qui9te a strain to be honest and the food was limited. Also the tv was positioned such that it would have been hard to watch.

This hotel is very dated and very small. You can barely get into the bathroom and it’s a step up. Only given 1 pillow per bed when they knew there were 3 people. Heat was on for a day that was 25 degrees so it was pretty warm. Only 2 very small elevators and they get very busy. Breakfast was okay though it was very busy.

The bathroom was covered in mould. My daughters wanted to have a bath but the mould was so bad, we couldnt let them be in there for any longer than they absolutely had to be. The free breakfast was good, but does not make up for the severe lack of cleanliness this bathroom desperately needed.
