Great place, near The Nut, penguin platform and penguins walking up to nest for the night. Only negative was someone thumping around upstairs maybe early in the morning but might be one child or heavy footed guest. Will come again.

Very nice B&B in scenic, peaceful town of Stanley. Rhonda & Chris are gracious hosts who provide excellent service and maintain the facility in pristine condition. The amenities are modern and the tasty breakfast is served in a cozy dining room. We enjoyed our stay at The Ark and would have loved to stay longer

Stanley was our favourite town in Tasmania and On The Terrace as was of the nicest places we stayed. It was very spacious, had everything we needed and extra attention was paid to small details to make it a real experience.

"Great location in Burnie. Lovely licensed bistro and Maccas easy for brekkie. Good parking. Hotel has been somewhat renovated with double glazing so the Port noise is hardly discernible. Corridor doors need work as there were some very noisy port workers coming in late. On site laundry was a bonus. ..."
