"Check in procedure instructions were a mixed bag. Was told to call to get codes, but no one answered, and codes to enter had been sent earlier. Also, nowhere on website does it say that breakfast is included! That's great, but we had already prepared for no on-site breakfast (since it is advertised as a no-staff hotel)."

"Great location and clean studio suite. Kitchen was well equipped with induction stove.. which was great but also a little limiting. After checkin we really didn’t hear much from the host. It’s adjacent to the hostel so there were lots of people around. View was good although it was too cold to go out. I would add a washer dryer to the unit because with the glaciers and waterfalls nearby, guests are bound to get wet. Loved the free parking!"

"The guesthouse is located on a beautiful farm about 15 minutes from Skogafoss to the west and about 25 minutes from Vik to the east. This location was a perfect base for us to explore the south coast waterfalls, the scenery around Vik, and a day trip to the Westman Islands. The staff was very friendly. Our favorite part of this guest house was the included breakfast! They offered a delicious assortment of meats, cheeses, cucumbers, boiled eggs, bananas, skyr, breads, coffee, tea and juices each morning. The room was small, but comfortable."

"The little cabin, kitchen and bathroom area are very nice and clean, but the phone numbers they list for help are not answered. When we got up this morning we found 3 people sleeping in the kitchen. They claimed that they did not receive proper check in instructions to get in their cabin. This place is completely unsupervised and the doors to general area are left open, not safe!!!"
