El Cid, Yucatan Peninsula hotels

"Para empezar la playa estaba llena de sargazo. El hotel se vio que no le pone empeño para tener limpia la playa. Si buscas un lugar para estar relax y poderte meter a la playa les recomiendo que se vayan a la zona hotelera. Alli estan las playas mucho mas limpias, y estan cerca de cualquier acrividad. Aparte, solo hay 2 albercas y no tiene la barra adentro en las albercas. Para pedir unbtrago tienes que salir de la alberca, aunque la barra esta alli es un inconveniente. El bufet, la comida no me encanto. Esta muy chico y la variedad de comida es muy reducida. Podrían mejorarla muchisimo Otra cosa es que no hay muchas actividades o Show. Por otro lado, las personas que trabajan alli... Todos son muy amigables y te hacen sentir bienvenido y los cuartos estan muy limpios."

"Very clean, workers worked very hard. Beds uncomfortable and the elevators were not adequate. Food was great in the specialty restaurants, was disappointed there wasnt a Mexican restaurant as we were in Mexico. The buffet was fair, could find something you liked. Did not like the reps pushing for you to go off site to the Coco Bongo show. It was expensive and misrepresented- definitely for a younger crowd. The entertainment was fair, if you wanted to go to the infamous Riu parties, you had to take a.shuttlento another Riu. Overall, great vacation. Food, drinks, pools. Enjoyed our time. "
