The hotel I've been told had been recently renovated. The taxi drivers didn't seem to know it because it had just been renamed from the Palace Inn to Palace Boutique but we got there eventually. Didn't realize the hotel provided free shuttle from/to airport so contact them before you arrive to arrange. Room and bed was comfortable. Apart from being close to the Grand mosque (about 10 minutes walk) a bit far from other places of interest but then again nothing in Bahrain is too far.
