I booked a “sea view” room, it was rather dull and not what we expect to see with sea view. Iron bars in the window (yes, jail), before the sea were 4 layers: restaurant, a passage way, large bush, a terrace used for smoking. Not acceptable. Cleanliness was the highlight. Not recommendable.

We really did enjoy the hospitability we received from all the staff. They were all friendly and greeted us with a smile whenever they saw us. They have a hidden pool we only found out about the last day, wish this was something we had known from the start. This is like a moms and pops type of hotel which if you are looking for the small and homie feel, you will definitely get here. Walking distance to most restaurants and night life on the island.

Perfect for sunset views
Throughly enjoyed our stay at Langi Langi, the spacious room was very well furnished with a comfortable bed and lounge and great balcony. Ideal location within walking distance of many restaurants, right on the beach with fantastic views of the sunset and passing boats. Very friendly and helpful staff, and restaurant with good variety of local food. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel
My stay was really good. The only problem with the hotel is the manager. He is rude. Otherwise, the hotel is beautiful, staff are very nice and helpful, rooms are comfortable and beautiful. Very nice place but they need to change the manager with the long hair.

Väldigt bra läge på hotellet med magisk utsikt från rummen som är sviter! Hade bra med varmvatten alla dagar förutom en kväll, internet väldigt dåligt på rummen men fungerade ok vid terrassen och restaurangen. Personalen trevliga och försökte rätta till de ”fel” som dök upp eller de förfrågningar som vi hade. Skulle lätt komma tillbaka igen.

Disappointment in a dated facility
We had booked this hotel as the final leg of our Safari in mainland Tanzania. Expectations were high in line with the rest of our trip, only the reality was different. Nungwi beach resort has seen its best days. Structure is dated, rooms are old, creaky fans and leaky aircons remind you of times past. If you are used to hostels and looking to upgrade, then this could fit the bill. The staff are nice enough though and they tried to make amends. We checked out after two nights as it was not what we thought we had booked and paid for. The managers would not entertain refunding any part of the costs despite things just not being what they looked like on the photos. If you are looking for a clean, cozy place to stay, we’d suggest to look further.

Rummet i sig var ganska mörkt och tråkigt men helt okej. Trädgården utanför däremot var väldigt vacker och avkopplande och med en bra pool. Hotellet har även access till stranden men inga solstolar på stranden. Dessa var istället uppe på en pir tillsammans med restaurangen. Fin utsikt från restaurangen. Hotellet erbjöd mycket bra städning varje dag. Det bästa med hotellet var läget mitt inne bland Nungwis nattliv.

Nice Hotel very good value
We stayed for 16 Nights. Very nice hotel and restaurant, great staff in perfect location and very good value for money . Hotel room was good, and although OK would benefit from a better matress and some electric sockets did not work properly but not a real issue.

Der Garten ist sehr schön. Die Anlage insgesammt ist schon in die Jahre gekommen. Es besteht renovierungsbedarf. Das Frühstück ist sehr eintönig.

Week verbleven in dit hotel. prachtige kamer en goede ligging. Super aardige en gastvrije mensen. 1 van die avonden waren we onze portemonnee kwijtgeraakt zelfde avond gingen we avondeten. Door hun medelijden mochten we eten op de zaak. dit hotel is zeker een aanrader

Just on the beach and near to all night life and restaurants.Good restaurant and awesome view. Management and workers are good here. Wifi could be better but we are in Africa :)

Reservation management should be improved
We made a reservation for the Suite but just few days before, the hotel informed us that the Suite was not available due to mistake from the hotel side. First we were given standard room, but fortunately we were moved to sea view room. Their standard room is very small, so if you plan to stay in Langi Langi, I recommend you to book at least sea view room. Foods were nice and beach was bery enjoyable.

Jätte nöjd!
Jätte god mat och trevlig personal. Hotellet ligger precis på stranden så när det är högvatten kliver man ner i vattnet från en trappa som ser ut som en stor pool. Ligger nära det lilla centrumet som finns i Nungwi och nära till restauranger.
