"We chose Costa Rica as a destination to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. La Fortuna was our first stop in a 3 week itinerary. We had 4 nights at Fortuna Retreat. We could not have asked for more! It was perfecto. The accomodation was exceptional - we were allocated room C4 which was immaculate and had the most spectacular view of Arenal Volcano. The staff were phenomenal, nothing was too much trouble. It genuinely felt as though they derived pleasure from our happiness. Weโ€™ve now been to 5 other properties in Costa Rica and itโ€™s still our favourite one."
