Breakfast was excellent. My favorite option was fresh bread, smoked salmon and cream cheese. Enjoyed the coffee too. Of course the staff was second to none! Professional, friendly, courteous, and customer oriented. Thanks to everyone for making my stay unforgettable.

If you are traveling to Amsterdam and want to experience a 5 star hotel Tivoli Doelen Hotel is for you. Less than a 30 minute drive from the airport. Located right on one of the canals in Amsterdam. There is not a negative thing about this hotel. From the moment you step into the hotel you are treated like family. Every staff member treated us as if we were the only guests. The food is outstanding. Every course for dinner was wonderful from taste to presentation. The breakfast buffet once again will not disappoint.
It is centrally located and very easy to walk to experience the town.
Do yourself a favor and consider this hotel if you are traveling to Amsterdam.

The hotel is perfectly fine, decent amenities and a very good breakfast. But the staff - especially at reception - were not very friendly and in the public areas they seemed more interested in cleaning than in the convenience of the guests.

Interesting place with a colorful past. It was originally built as German barracks and concerted only a few years ago. We had a huge room, comfortable beds, and it was quiet.
