The pillows were so thin. It was like laying your head straight on the mattress. I asked for another one. It arrived 40 minutes later- actually that’s not quite true, a duvet arrived 40 minutes later. I folded it up and used it as a pillow. The shower is annoying. There’s a hole in the door so when you use it it soaks the floor. And you don’t have any spare towels to clean it. Also at 09:07 someone opened our door whilst we were sleeping. Granted we didn’t have our do not disturb sign up. But I thought they would have given a couple of seconds notice after knocking. They knocked on the door and opened it almost immediately.

LOOK FOR A BETTER DEAL SOMEWHERE
The weirdest hotel we've stayed in during our 1-month tour in Europe. Very tight space. The shower room had an almost transparent glass door w/ a big hole that served as a handle to open and close door. So, to have privacy when taking a shower, we had to hang our bath towel from the top of the door and plug the door handle w/ our dirty shirts. The toilet, w/c was a separate room beside the shower also had a BIG hole where the door knob would usually be installed. Again, we had to be resourceful and used toilet paper to plug the hole and have some privacy. We were 3 occupants in the room ( in a double decker bed) and of course needed some privacy in toilet and bathroom. We had to ask for hand towels. Only regular towel provided for each. We had to ask for shampoo refill.

I though the hotel was in Zurich. This is very far from there. Had to pay 52 Euros every day to go and come back to Zurich. for 2 persons. It is near to the train station in Winterthur. The Budget hotel with no reception or personnel to ask for help.

The rooms are very small and there was mold around the shower door. The shower water would not drain well either. They moved us to a different room and it had the same issue.

Zurich for a day
I went to Zurich with family for a day and wanted to stay within my budget and found ibis budget in Winterthur I was not expecting much but hotel was good and comfortable although roo was tiny but clean. Air condition was not working at all.

Car parking is not enough
When we arrived the car parking was full and I was asked to park in the street but full of cars parked as well so I need to go around and around until finally I found a space in the street which was not marked hoping I will not received a ticket. They should cater more parking space like using McDonald’s parking space beside them. The other thing was there was no cupboard or wardrobe to place clothes.
