We just stayed there and let me tell you, this place was great. When we first got there; there was a sign that said I was the VIP guest. So cool. We checked in and went to the room. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were okay. I like a firmer pillow. They only issue we had with the room was the ACA unit was making a rattling noise when they fixed the next day. The room was perfect for a couple but if you had kids, it would be small. The kitchen downstairs was perfect for leftovers or if you want to cook to save money. 10 bucks a day for parking was good compared to other hotels in the area. We would definitely stay there again.

I love this place! Friendly staff, plenty of towels and drinkware. The general use kitchen on the ground floor is stocked with coffee, tea, cocoa, sugars & creamers so you can grab the types you prefer and how many you need to take back to your room instead of asking the staff, which is smart. It's not in the center of the action of Central West End so you have to walk a bit to get to those places, but I'm talking maybe 8 blocks (and the neighborhood is so beautiful you won't mind). As a trade-off you get a more affordable price, peace & quiet, a 24 hr drugstore across the street, and a shopping plaza next door with a major grocery store and several carry-outs. Plus, it's only about 12 blocks from the Cortex light rail stop so you can easily get downtown or to the airport without having to hire a ride or navigate the maze of parking lots around the CWE rail stop. Will definitely be back!
