This place was fully equipped for a vacation. The view was amazing—I would even say priceless. The space was very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to cook a full meal. They provided forks, plates, pots, and pans—you just have to bring your own food. The bed was comfortable as well. The only thing that could use improvement is the living room furniture. The couch feels outdated and could use an upgrade. Aside from that, everything else was very nice. The staff was very friendly—definitely an experience I won’t forget.

Beautiful view of the ocean right from the bedroom area. We went during the freeze that came a couple months back, so we didn't get any beach time in, unfortunately... It looked beautiful. The hotel was extremely clean, no bad smell, and the room had a super cute set up with the kitchenette, living area & bedroom Check in was simple, quick and just as easy to check out. Two smart TVs were included in our room & we were able to set up our own game system. I saw a review stating they didn't have smart TVs, so I definitely wanted to include that. We will definitely stay again!

The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY!.Room was super clean. There was some maintenance going on in other rooms but it didnt create any issues. The room was so quiet that I didnt even know there were people nexr door. The balcony was a bit small but more than enough for me and my friend. It was an amazing experience in a great location and I'd most definitely come back

We loved the Maverick resort and will absolutely be back! Some of the resort was under construction, so we were understanding about that. Everything was super clean in our room, the lobby, and pool area. Staying on the beach is an amazing experience and we can’t wait to go back! Almost all the staff is wonderful, we only encountered one whom we avoided due to a bad attitude. Only hiccup was our fridge was not working upon arrival and it took a little over a day to get it fixed which ended up meaning we had to get a new one so I lost a couple hundred dollars worth of groceries I had brought with us. Nothing that will prevent us from returning though. Highly highly recommend this resort!

We were there for bike week and had a great view of the beach, the room looked like the picture on website and we had a motorcycle only parking lot. BUT... our floors in our room were dirty and the sheets on the bed were dirty. When we reported to the front desk twice, we were dismissed and then told we could pay $75 for housekeeping. We told the front a 3x, and that night manager gave us a sheet to replace on the bed. When we took the dirty sheet to the front desk in the morning she told us to take it to the laundry room ourselves, which we did not, left it with her and she threw it on the lobby floor. The elevators were unpredictable and one was out of order at one time - we were on the 7th floor and another hotel guest said that the stairwells were blocked off. We did not attempt that. Location and room was great but we did not find it hospitable. If you select this hotel, I hope they do better for you.

We had the oceanfront deluxe balcony for four adults, which was perfect liked the sliding door that could separate the two areas however, I would say the biggest problem was the staff at the front desk. We separately all engaged with three different staff members-maybe because it was bike week they were tired, but so were we and they were not welcoming or very friendly or accommodating. An example was we arrived about an hour prior to check-in and asked if that we could just leave our duffel bags from our motorcycles in an area out of the way until our room was ready. You would’ve thought we were asking to put them in a bank vault. Those properties have some sort of an area where you can at least put your luggage or whatever temporarily. We even saw some other guests being asked to move their car from the front lobby area when their wives were trying to check in and the way that the front desk spoke to the guest was very rude. I would say the hotel is in a great location although we didn’t use it. It looks like a great pool area. It appeared all the restaurants were closed.

There were a lot of great things about this property and a few things I would like to see changed if I came back again. Pros: View: all the rooms have an ocean view and the balcony views were amazing! Grill: there is an amazing grilling station on the patio /pool area that was great! 4 grills, so there was always space to cook dinner. Just know you can ask the front desk for bbq accessories, they just weren’t in the room. Pool:/beach: great! Lots of Loungers and you can ask front desk for chair and umbrella for beach if you would like. Kitchenette: was nice to have full fridge/freezer, sink , microwave and stove. Loved it. Staff: was very friendly. Helpful and always ready to help when needed. Parking: Was free and abundant. Cons: Rooms: •The floors were SO dirty when we checked in. We had dirt and sand caked on our feet as we walked through. Everything else was clean, however. •Was weird to have a living room with no coffee table. This was would have been nice to have. •Our room smelled SO bad. Very strong of musty smell combined with paint? Not sure ... But it was very off putting. We stopped into someone else’s room and it didn’t smell bad, so not sure what was going on with ours. Hottub: was cold. Same temp as pool. Not sure if it was just not working , or if it every gets warm. Got calls everyday to go to a timeshare meeting. Just be aware.

The room was just as pictured. The views were amazing. The property pool was heated and they have a nice hot tub. Unfortunately it had rained the entire second day we were there, and it never really heated back up before we left. But they kept the property clean and well maintained. I saw the pool guys there cleaning three times on our stay (could have been more). If I am back in Ormond beach again, I'll book with The Maverick Resort again! *One down side was ONE very unpleasant night desk lady, who worked our last evening there; when asked for assistance, she seemed irritated and bothered to have to do something. EVERYONE else was very pleasant!
