Hotels in Lake Worth Corridor

"Per the Hotels.com information, there was a complimentary continental breakfast. You had to produce a coupon to get breakfast. When I inquired, they front desk said my reservation did not include breakfast. Another annoyance was a barking dog that a guest ignored. My final complaint is it is a suite hotel, but the room with the couch did not have a TV. So, to watch TV, you had to go into the bedroom and sit on the bed. "

"When we arrived, we saw the cleaning staff doing their thing and it seemed to be very thorough--so cleanliness gets high remarks. The biggest issue I had is that there is no front desk staff or lobby so there is absolutely no where to leave your bags. Even at 2 start motels, you can generally drop your bags off so you can move about the city with comfort. The code for your door is activated at 4pm exactly so unless you opt to pay $30, there is no such thing as early check-in. Again, I wish I knew all these details before booking. For $250 a night, I believe another hotel would have been open to early check in with no fee or at the very least, let you leave your bags in a secure location. We didn't use the kitchenette but all things seemed to be in working order which is convenient for people who have a need for a fridge, coffee machine, etc. The area was fine--I saw some review that shady characters hung around the area but I did not see any of that. We used Uber to get around to Northwood (very cute area with shops and restaurants) and Downtown."

"Our stay at Opal had some positives, but the check-in experience and overall communication were disappointing and set the tone for the visit. At arrival, there was confusion around our reservation and very little proactive communication from the staff. We weren’t clearly informed about what was happening, what the delay was, or what to expect next. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt like we had to keep asking questions just to understand basic details. Throughout the stay, this lack of communication continued in smaller ways—information wasn’t clearly shared, and we often had to follow up ourselves rather than staff anticipating needs or keeping us informed. To their credit, the hotel did offer some compensation (drink vouchers and breakfast), which was appreciated. However, those gestures didn’t fully make up for the initial experience and ongoing communication gaps. For a property at this level, I would expect a much more organized and proactive approach—especially at check-in, which is the first impression. With better communication and clearer coordination, this could easily be a much stronger guest experience."

"After parking my car, the walking to the entrance, there was trash and dog poop on the sidewalk, which is still there when I left. The lobby is beautiful. Room was nice, clean but average-nothing special. My room, no matter what I set the temperature at stayed at 66*. I called and asked them for an extra blanket, it never came. The next morning, I called and asked them to send someone to fix it. I waited an hour and a half and no one showed up. I enjoyed the beach with the chairs and service. Lunch was great too. I have traveled all over the world and stayed in many hotels. I guess for the price of this hotel, I expected more. For me, it was average."
