Great spot for a quick trip, clean room, did smell like cigarettes, but we got used to it quickly. My only quarrel was the door wouldn't open first try, it would take about 10+ tries to get the door open with the key. Other than that it was great, had A/C and was clean inside. Dog friendly too which was a bonus!

Amazing staff and clean rooms

The staff at Motel Santa Cruz was amazing, and our rooms was clean and comfortable. The room had refrigerator and microwave and it was walking distance to beach

The rooms were very poorly maintained also quality of bedding and furniture, the stairs were rusty and staff were fighting screaming at each other, barely slept due to been itchy and next door been drinking and outside our door yelling and having a burp contest apparently very unpleasant
