A lovely gem walkable to town in one direction and other hotels (especially Spring House where you can cocktail on the lawn) in the other direction. Having a room with a balcony was a plus for gorgeous breezes. But we forewarned, bathrooms are tiny.

We loved this adorable hotel. The room was quaint and cozy, the staff was very friendly, and the grounds were amazing. There is a life size chess board near a very pleasant outdoor seating area under an old willow tree. Right out of a story book! Even made friends with the roosters that reside in the back :)

History, modern comfort, pretty!

Probably most central and I think most modern hotel on the island. Public spaces, lobby, gardens are lovely and rooms are well lit, beautifully appointed and very comfy beds. Keep in mind that it is a historic building so bathrooms are tight but mine was bright, updated, CLEAN with great hot water pressure. Good mirrors for makeup etc. mini fridge, mini split ac iron hair dryer everything you’ll need. Only reason not 5 stars is shoulder season restaurant was closed. But coffee and small bar served in lobby. Pretty gardens and porch!!

This hotel was like a warm hug. The staff is so friendly it felt like staying with friends. This was the most unique hotel experience I have ever had. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The accommodations were lovely and they have truly thought about the little details. I would highly recommend a stay here and will definitely be going back again!

Great location, easy walk from ferry in Old Harbor with great dining options within East walking distance. Visiting midweek in early September ( PERFECT weather, less crowds ) made for an ideal 3 day getaway. Like having coffee available in lobby (2 flights down) but a walk to store for breakfast items needed ( hint there's a refrigerator in room so we knew to stick up for second morning) to be lazy!

Lovely old well maintained property with a fantastic front porch offering cocktail and coffee service. Charming. Nice linens, a/c, comfortable beds. Our particular room was small but there are other larger rooms available. Polite staff. Look forward to visiting again!
