"Perfect locattion - On a hill overlooking a stunning view of the village and ocean! Very quiet and in walking distance to village dining and shopping. Beautiful building and antique furnishings. Bed was excellent. Very nice linens. Nice bathroom. Wonderful view of the grounds and ocean from our room. Nice spacious room with antiques and period wallpaper and big windows with blackout blinds. Lovely grounds and outdoor dining on the large front porch and yard overlooking the village and ocean. On-site restaurant and bar with live music were nice. No handicap accommodations, groud floor rooms, nor elevator, and very steep stairs. Very nice and lovely, but expensive."

The 1661 Inn

"We love the 1661 for many reasons and now there is more to love. The addition of the gym and sauna as well as the expanded farm are great additions. The only suggestion I have is to use wd 40 on the doors so that when you close a door it doesn't creak and squeak. The insulation between rooms is minimal and I could hear doors closing and opening all night."
