We LOVED our stay here. Was perfect for us. We did a long weekend and the room was in the courtyard and the AC was fantastic after a long day of walking in the heat! The bed was super comfortable and the shower had great pressure and the bathrooms are big!! Not your typical European room which we really loved. A bit more comfort!

Friendly and helpful people. I felt very welcomed and comfortable there. I highly recommend this hotel. The only surprise I got was that they would charge €40 if you arrived after 10 p.m. My flight was delayed, and I had to pay the extra €40 that was not specified in Expedia. It was more about Expedia's mistake than the hotel's. They showed me their policies. Also, Expedia had a picture of a washing machine. It was not true. So, I was kind of disappointed with two unexpected details.

A lovely friendly place to stay

A lovely hotel, family run, very helpful and friendly, nothing too much bother. Good location away from the busy centre but close enough to walk to the centre taking in some of the lovely restaurants and bars on the way.

This place is a hidden gem! Our host was so nice and gave us great recommendations. There are so many dining options and this was close to transportations that took you all over the city. It was clean and spacious. I would highly recommend.

Great service from Maria and Christy. Organized all our early/late airport transfers. Hotel is very secure and great central location where you can walk to everything. Great bus connection to colleseum. Amazing place to stay. Close enough that you can visit busy sites like Vatican, Trevi and spainish steps in Morning before crowds, Then come back to hotel for a late breakfast and or break during middle of day. Awesome place to stay.

This is a lovely boutique hotel run by the most lovely people. You are close enough to all the tourist sites across the river, but in a quiet residential area where you can feel more like a local in the excellent restaurants and bars nearby. We stayed in the superior room, which was beautifully appointed with a very comfortable bed and more than sufficient space for yoga after a morning run along the river to work off all the gelato and pasta. The hotel operators are amazing people who have the best recommendations for restaurants nearby and Christy also runs excellent walking tours. They can also arrange for airport transfers at a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Belli36! We are a family of 4 and the family suite was large, clean and had very comfortable beds. We felt safe in the area and it was nice and quiet for us to rest after a long day of walking. Also, there were many dining options and within walking distance to all the attractions. Staff were very friendly - thank you Melissa! Toiletries were nice and we really liked the boutique style of the hotel, felt very cozy, warm and safe. We would recommend Belli 36 to our friends and family, thank you!

The room we stayed in had a shared common space (i.e. kitchen, sofa, fridge) and it was located in the basement. If we would have known we would have not booked. Great little hotel!

Our room was very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly. It was only about a 20-minute walk to the city center. We also easily navigated the bus from the hotel when needed. The staff was nice. Maria and another man were by far the most helpful and the friendliest. We had a lovely time despite the insane heat wave. Our kids loved the cool elevator.

María was nice and did a fast check-in , the location is good ! with one of the best gelato shop about 200 meters from the building , I was very disappointed with the location of my room , in the basement in the back of the building, almost like it’s free because you work as a maintenance of the building Expedia should pay attention to the real pictures of the room and property and last thing : you will have to walk around the city with 3 keys to get to your room.

Maria and her team were friendly and helpful with very good communication. Location is good and safe. There are a lot of breakfast cafes closeby with amazing options. Bus service is good though we used taxi service most of the time. Cleanliness was good - bathroom (rainshower) was awesome. Airconditioning needs to be better. It was a great to have bottled water in our rooms. There is no minifridge in the room. There is a common fridge where you can keep your stuff if you need.

The property is clean and very well located. Nice rooms and lovely kitchen. There is a brother and sister that run the property. The brother is absolutely lovely. The sister and and one of the staff persons is a complete nightmare. Unfriendly and unaccomodating. If the brother ran this place alone it would be perfect! Problems to be aware of were: 1. Limited staffing so you are on your own. 9AM-2AM Not quick to reply on what’s app. Needed an iron and never got a response. 2. As a result of the hours there is no real bag hold possibility after check out. 3. Definitely skip the breakfast. 4. They have a kitchen but even if you want to heat something the sister says “it’s not for customers.” 5. I had some personal issues while I was there and as compensation I travelled half the country and lugged back a great bottle of wine as a present to the sister and she ungratefully took the wine and continued to be rude. 6. She charged me 30-50 EXTRA euros for check in after hours when NO where on the reservation/rules did I see that! Worse is that it was a return visit so all they had to do was give me the keys (no checkin process required). Renter beware of these issues.

So this was our first family trip to Italy and we weren't sure what to truly expect. So when we landed Maria who was amazing along with her staff, messaged me to see if we need pickup. I explained we were great as our family who live in Rome were meeting us at the airport. after some tough traffic and quick lunch we finally arrived. Maria met us as we were coming in and helped us load the elevator and send it up. we walked into the common area and it was very nice. she explained were to get cold drinks of all kinds, access to Coffee, and when breakfast was available. Then she took us to our room. She opened the door and it was amazing. It matched the photos but was actually bigger than we expected. the place was clean and the beds were comfortable and clean bathroom. She gave us a tour of where everything was, also a guide to the area. I loved that we were never rushed out of the room for room service and they were so helpful when we had to leave. I will definitely be coming back next time we are in Rome.

This is really cute, small place. The cookies, coffee, and tea available all day in the breakfast nook were a nice touch. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was tasty. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. My only small complaint is that the shower was a bit awkward, with the rain shower head strangely placed. Other than that, everything was as advertised (the pictures are accurate!) At first, I wasn't sure I'd like the location, but it turned out to be really nice (and away from the hordes of tourists that swarm Rome, even in the off season!) There is a pretty plaza nearby and places to eat, and it's easy to walk to a variety of popular attractions.

The owners and staff were extremely helpful and kind. They went out of their way to assist us anyway they could from breakfast timings, transportation and showing us what to see in Rome. As great place to stay.
