We were only in Rome for two nights, but Hotel Selva Candida gave us a respite from the inner-city chaos. The property is gorgeous, the accommodations are comfortable, and the breakfast is a delicious selection!

The perfect place to stay. There’s a cafe across the street with the nicest owner and staff, with good food, pastries and coffee. There’s a bus stop across the street from the hotel. The public transportation system in Rome is incredible and easy to use. The hotel has bus and train passes. The staff at the hotel was amazing, very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. The best salami I’ve ever had. The room was clean. The area is quiet. The only down side is there’s no restaurant on the property but if you walk 15 minutes you’ll run into the best pizza you’ll ever eat at 100% pizza. I would definitely stay here again.

First of all, the front desk staff were super friendly and always helpful with anything I needed! The breakfast was very good. However, the facilities are quite old, and there were electrical issues in the room. Also, the room wasn’t clean. And the air conditioning was controlled only from frondest - so we need to ask for temperature changes.
