This is a modern hotel in the middle of the NZ alps. Friendly and informative staff. Beautiful views from the hotel rooms. If you want to stay at Mt cook. This is your best option.

Amazing views and good selection of dining options. The room we had was in the original part of the hotel and located under the staircase which was not ideal as the stairs creek. Otherwise a great spot at the base of Mt Cook.

Good place to have a getaway from urban living Abit costly but good to some quiet time midway to queenstown from Christchurch or vice versa. Get here via great sights tour if needed
