The room was clean. It just has a certain smell to it. The remotes were sticky had to wipe them. Over all very clean ,spacious room, decent free breakfast. We enjoyed our stay

Good place, nothing crazy but priced fairly! Short walk to the beach and downtown was killer for us! Staff is nice and the housekeepers do a great job. We spent most of our time at moonlight beach and at the shops and restaurants downtown. The Encinitian was a great place to stay between adventures! I would definitely come back.
