A good location

Our stay was really good apart from 2 things - we had a few problems with WiFi, losing connection from time to time. We were unaware that the hotel had no dedicated parking, and that it would cost us £10 to park nearby for a day

Lovely ancient pub in centre of town. Very close to Millbrook. Great service from manager.

4 night stay with family

Pros: Great location if you’re visiting / doing business in Ampthill. Great food and drinks downstairs. The staff were always friendly, helpful and welcoming. Cons: no on premise parking. Closest parking is a municipal lot…10 pounds for 24 hours. When I checked in my room was made up as 2 singles instead of a double as requested. Beds were a tad small & uncomfortable. Walls are thin, I could hear my neighbors “chatting” until midnight the night before I was planning on checking out. Otherwise it was a great stay

Good location, staff is friendly and welcoming, our check in hostess Phoebe was very helpful. Can be very noise up until 1am due to events over the weekend. Basic amenities like shower gel/ body wash missing. Rooms are a bit on the smaller end and can have better cleanliness
