Beau chateau au milieu des vignes... Des creations merveilleuses LALIQUE partout, un personnel aussi délicat que cette maison. Je regrette un petit coin detente comme une piscine par cette chaleur.

Schöner, ruhiger Retreat in der Gironde

Das Chateau liegt mitten in Weinbergen, sehr ruhig und mit dem Auto doch nicht weit von Bordeaux entfernt. Wir empfehlen jedoch sehr, ein Auto zu nehmen. Das Personal ist durchgängig sehr professionell, vom Empfang, bis Restaurant und auch House Keeping. Wir haben uns selten so wohl gefühlt an einem Ort. Sehr zu empfehlen ist ebenfalls das Restaurant, welches über zwei Michelin-Sterne verfügt und von Herrn Schilling aus dem Elsass geführt wird.

Fabulous hotel spoilt by attention to detail

The hotel was beautiful and so was our room. However the welcome note was addressed to someone else - not us! There was no soap in the bathroom and no toilet roll in the wc.

Amazing attention to detail, we had a wonderful night at this hotel and dinner at the Lalique restaurant. Highly recommend this hotel, we would definitely return if we are in Sauternes again!

Nous avons annulé le séjour compte tenu du feu de forêt à Landiras à quelques km de l’hôtel et de la fumée pouvant m’occasionner ainsi qu’à notre fils des problèmes d’asthme. On a tenté d’appeler le jour avant à multiples reprises sans réponse de la réception pour ensuite comprendre qu’ils sont fermés certains jours de la semaine. Le jour même, nous avons expliqué notre situation et à ce jour, on nous refuse le remboursement. C’est regrettable d’un si grand château… très frustrant!

The greatest weekend stay!

What an amazing weekend stay! The quality of the property, the setting, the amazing room are exactly as we expected for a 5 star hotel in Bordeaux - but the hospitality, the welcome, the extra effort that the hotel staff made to make this weekend great was unparalleled in 25 years of travelling.
