The Milking Parlour is a hidden gem set in wonderful surroundings in the country ,but just a short drive from the park and ride into York, I received a detailed text message on how to find it and where to park. The cottage itself is extremely clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom and bath and the beds give a great nights sleep. A nice little touch was a pint of milk in the fridge and some biscuits on the side. I was very impressed and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting York.Look forward to coming back

Hidden gem!

Decided to take a short break with kids to York and found the milking parlour Wheldrake online. From our arrival we were blown away with the place it was the perfect family cottage. The hosts were easy to contact on the way down, the cottage itself is in the centre of the milking sheds now converted to lovely holiday cottages which are bright, spacious and clean. Being far enough from the clubhouse small children are perfectly safe playing on the grassy area out front and there are a number of excellent woodland walks nearby. We will definitely be back
