You get what you pay for. It’s next to a Asda but the area was very quiet and we slept really well. Room was clean and comfortable with air con. Breakfast was cracking with great choice and cooked fresh. The staff were helpful professional and all lovely . It was perfect for what we wanted to go see a gig in Edinburgh

Great location next to main road but only a short walk into Dunbar. Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value food deals with extensive menu. Great breakfast. First time at a Marstons Inn but will definitely use them again.

A Good Reasonably Priced Hotel/pub

The Pine Marten is very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel building is separate from the pub so no noise. The bedroom was clean with all facilities. The bed was (unlike in some hotels) very comfortable. Had continental breakfast each day at £6 odd. It was adequate but no yoghurt mixed with berries like at Premier Inn and Holiday Inn Express. Also the music being played was dire . Funeral music

Very easy to check-in. Hotel well placed for the main north/south route. Handy for a short walk into the town. Although next to ASDA , the area was relatively quiet. Restaurant attached offers a good menu, including a choice for breakfast. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

This is fairly basic Pub accomodation. Small minimally furnished room. Only one chair. 'Pub grub' fine if you are in to swill down a few pints. On the positive, the staff were polite and attentive. We were there for two nights to attend a wedding nearby so it did the job. Not somewhere I would choose to stay for a holiday.

Good set up.

It was clean. Its not high end luxury but it is functional, nicely located, warm welcome and just a good all round set up for a reasonable price. Decent breakfast too.

Hotel was good, nice condition, seems like everything is quite new which helps. Check in was easy and restaurant next door was good. Was noisy at times but that’s not the hotels fault just inconsiderate parents.

Lovely family stay in The Pine Martin. It’s not Palatial but it’s clean and comfortable and close to the fabulous rock pools of Dunbar. Also just 20 mins in the train to Edinburgh.

Nice trip to Dunbar

The Pine Marten was a great base for our stay in Dunbar. The town centre was about a 20 minute walk and it was very handy having a supermarket on the same site. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable. A slight criticism would be that we stayed two nights and whilst I understand the environmental reasons for not changing towels everyday it would have been nice if someone popped in to replenish our tea and coffee supply. That aside we enjoyed our stay, thanks

The room was clean, with comfortable beds and the bathroom was very clean with new-looking modern fittings. The only thing that was a bit off was they didn’t serve any breakfast on Christmas Day but there was no mention of this when I booked and the restaurant was open later for dinner. Nowhere else was open, so no breakfast. Today was the 2nd day of our stay and we had a lovely breakfast.
